Daniel Fitzjohn is the new managing director at Motus Commercials, the largest DAF Trucks dealer group in Europe, writes Peter Brown.
He stared his career with Motus Commercials in 2018 as the regional director for the southwest region and takes up the MD role after working the last 12 months as the company’s commercial director.
He said: “I have some very big shoes to fill and am delighted to be given this huge opportunity and am looking forward to getting into the business.
“As DAF Trucks biggest dealer group, we won’t be standing still and expect to continue our growth journey. So, with a terrific team already in place, I will be looking to continue to improve our offering and growth across the business.
“We work with an outstanding truck manufacturer in DAF and our goals are very much aligned with theirs.”
He replaces Matt Lawrenson, who moves into a new role as CEO of Motus Group (UK) Limited. He said: “I am confident Daniel will continue to grow Motus Commercials, support the development of our outstanding colleagues and keep customer service excellence as our top priority.”
