Due to a technical glitch (alright, I admit it – I missed it during the sub-editing process), the August 2026 issue of Transport News featured the Model Truck Competition with exactly the same picture as the previous issue, writes editor Kevin Swallow.
Thank you to everyone who got in touch, including one reader who sent in a bill for an eye test at Specsavers, convinced their eyesight had deteriorated between issues of the magazine.
To make amends, Transport News is running the Model Truck Competition for a second month.
This time, however, it features a genuine new picture, which can be found somewhere within the pages of the September 2026 issue.
