Mac’s Truck Rental Opens New Depot In Perth

Mac’s Truck Rental has opened a new dedicated facility in Perth, aimed at supporting its growing customer base in Scotland with self-drive trucks and trailers, writes Peter Brown.

Sales director Jeff Wright said: “Establishing our new site in Perth is a strategic move that brings us closer to key customers working across the Highlands and Islands, while still being just an hour from Scotland’s busy central belt.”

The new facility is on the A94, just outside Perth, and it has capacity for up to 20 specialist vehicles to be kept in stock, including tankers, beavertails, crane trucks, tippers, skip loaders and hook loaders, alongside flatbed and plant trailers.

These are assets that typically have long production lead times if purchased outright, he added.

“This location ensures we can deliver the exceptional service our growing Scottish customer base expects – whether it’s sitting down together to plan future fleet additions or responding to a new contract win and needing a ready-built truck or trailer on the road in double quick time,” he said.

“Celebrating its 10th anniversary this year, the opening of the new facility in Scotland is a perfect illustration of how Mac’s Truck Rental continues to go from strength to strength.”

All Mac’s Truck Rental vehicles are supplied with a full manufacturer’s warranty, nationwide breakdown assistance and dedicated maintenance support.
