The shortlist for Logistics UK’s Transport Manager of the Year competition for 2025 has been revealed a week ahead of the presentation, writes Peter Brown.
The winner will be announced at the Logistics UK’s Logistics Awards on 11 December at the Park Plaza Westminster Bridge, London, where the ultimate winner will be revealed.
Those in the running include Alex Colquhoun from Glasgow City Council, Maizy Griffiths from Easy Bathrooms and Lee Thompson-Halls from Brocklesby Ltd.
The competition took place over three stages from May to September 2025, and included a legislation and compliance knowledge test, a case study submission and an interview with a panel of judges.
Tom Griffith is the manager for the member advice centre at Logistics UK, and sat on the judging panel. “The Logistics UK Transport Manager of the Year competition recognises and celebrates the best transport managers and their industry expertise, leadership skills and operational knowledge,” he said.
“The judges were particularly impressed with the high quality of all the entrants, and I would like to extend my congratulations to those who have been shortlisted.”
