UK AND Ireland Fuel Distributors Association (UKIFDA) has revealed the sponsor for the Future Fuels Conference at UKIFDA EXPO 2022 in Liverpool on 27/28 April as fuel supplier and environmental services company Crown Oil, a family run business with headquarters located in Bury, Greater Manchester.
The business started in 1928 and 90 years later in 2019, Crown started investing in the renewable liquid fuel, Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil (HVO). Today it aims to be Carbon neutral by April 2022 and Net Zero direct emissions (scope 1 and 2) by 2030 or sooner.
To reflect their environmental initiatives within the liquid fuel distribution industry, Crown Oil also won UKIFDA’s Green Award for 2021.
