Dryfreight specialist Uptons Transport Services has taken delivery of its first trailer from Schmitz Cargobull, a new S.CS fixed roof curtainsider semi-trailer, featuring the lightweight modular design providing optimum payload. Manufactured at Schmitz Cargobull’s Manchester factory it complies with DIN EN 12642 Code XL load security regulations and has been purchased outright. It joins a fleet of 10 trailers, plus two DAF and two Renault tractor units. Director of Uptons Transport Services, Phil Upton, said: “I am impressed with the build quality. I have felt supported by the team who have kept me informed with everything throughout the entire trailer building process.”
