‘EVEN though many of our industry friends weren’t able to be with us, we had every bit of the spirit of Truckfest, held over the August Bank Holiday weekend,’ enthused Bob Limming from organisers Live Promotions.
‘There were over 1,200 trucks taking part and although Peterborough usually attracts around 3,000, it didn’t diminish the event,’ he said.
‘We worked incredibly closely with not only the east of England showground, but also bodies such as Public Health England, Environmental Health and all the Emergency Services to deliver a socially distanced safe event.
