RECENT events have seen the Road Haulage Association adapt to new ideas and new working practices now offering a range of alternative membership options for different areas of the industry.
The RHA says it is no longer a traditional ‘one size fits all’ organisation and are now able to cater to operators and individuals alike.
‘There will be three new membership categories – individual, professional and van. We are confident that these new, sector specific categories will help make our voice even louder and increase our ability to influence not only those within the industry, but also the wider industry stakeholders,’ enthused RHA chief executive Richard Burnett.
‘Vans remain unregulated and we want to help them demonstrate that they are compliant and provide guidance and support, by setting the sector a standard and an accredited audit.’
