RIVERSIDE Truck Rental, a member company of NRG Fleet Services, has entered into the refrigerated truck rental market specifying Carrier Transicold equipment for all 18 vehicles comprising its new rental fleet.
The new refrigerated fleet is made up of three, 7.5 tonne and three, 13 tonne Isuzu rigid chassis fitted with Carrier Transicold Xarios 600 units mounted to Gray & Adams bodies, alongside six 18 tonne DAF LFs and six 26 tonne Iveco Stralis rigids, all featuring Carrier Transicold Supra 1150 MT (multi temperature) systems and Paneltex refrigerated bodies.
‘We have been working with Carrier for many years on behalf of our contract hire customers, so we knew we would be getting the quality, reliability and service support we needed for this new venture,’ said Paul Evans, national rental manager at Riverside Truck Rental. ‘The refrigerated rental segment is uncharted territory for us, so we wanted to ensure we were offering our new customer base the best, and the range of equipment Carrier can offer made them the obvious choice.’
