The transport and logistics industry has raised an impressive £100,681 at this year’s Scottish Transaid Dinner, aided by a charity auction.

The event, held on 12 September at the Macdonald Inchyra Hotel & Spa near Grangemouth, was attended by more than 300 executives and friends representing businesses across Scotland.

The organisation of this latest Scottish Transaid Dinner was led by Lynsey Craik from John Mitchell Haulage and Warehousing.

Funds raised came from ticket sales, sponsorships and a unique charity auction.

Speaking after the event, Joan Aitken said: “To see the industry come together like this demonstrates, once again, that this is a very special organisation which many people hold dear to their heart.”
