FOUNDING editor of Transport News, Alistair Vallance, officially delivered the 2023 Top Truck Award to the DAF Trucks stand at Truckfest Scotland, after the XG claimed the iconic trophy.
The panel of judges were unanimous in awarding the honours to the ‘genuinely ground-breaking truck’.
Stevie Walker, co-director of Lochmaben Transport and resident road tester for Transport News, said the XG ticked all the boxes for hauliers. “While there are no real bad trucks these days, the XG appears to be on another level,” he said.
