SCOTTISH government’s First Minister Humza Yousaf has restored the transport brief to cabinet level and appointed Màiri McAllan to take on the role alongside her existing posts to become the cabinet secretary for Transport, Net Zero and Just Transition.
Meanwhile, MSP Fiona Hyslop has returned to government as Minister For Transport, replacing Kevin Stewart, who resigned in June 2023.
