Drinks giant Diageo has teamed up with Malcolm Group to run an HVO trial which aims to save 171 tons of greenhouse gas emissions over its duration.
The trial will see 11 of Malcom’s trucks, fuelled by HVO, operating into and out of Diaeo’s Leven facility in Scotland, the global company’s largest packaging site.
The initial trial will look at the performance and reliability of the biofuel lorries and will run until the end of October.
This is latest in a series of initiatives from Diageo Leven, as part of the company’s sustainability drive.
