THE RHA notes the industry faces skills shortages and they acknowledge the steps government has taken to address the issues, but said more needs to be done.
In its skills manifesto the RHA encourages industry, the education sector and government to work together to make the logistics and commercial road transport an attractive career option. The industry must promote the sector’s diverse career paths, also offering more work experience placements, said the trade association.
