CONSORTIUM Purchasing group has agreed a 2,500 truck order to be delivered over 12 months with Scania UK.
The order will be split across the Culina Group, WS Group, A.W. Jenkinson Group and its subsidiaries.
The deal includes 2,250 internal combustion engine trucks with a majority powered by the latest generation 13 litre Super drivetrain, 150 trucks will be destined for Consortium’s German and Dutch operations. The final 100 will be among the first Scania battery-electric regional haul 4×2 tractor units to be used on the UK roads.
