BPW’s first tyre inflation system, AirSave, is designed to continuously track and control trailer tyre pressures while driving, but also indicates cost effectiveness in fuel usage.
AirSave maintains the correct tyre pressure, even if the tyre has a puncture, said BPW, whose system uses the trailer’s existing pneumatics to automatically monitor and adjust tyre pressure to the desired level through a control box with an air step pump. Should the pressure deviate significantly the driver will be given an early alert via a warning light.
