IT LOOKS set to be a frenetic summer with several local Truck Shows and Truck Runs on the calendar.
On Saturday 15 July the Berwickshire Charity Truck Run (BCTR) takes place. Now an established event, it was originally set up by local people to help out local causes. One of the organisers is Viki Carruthers, a regional manager for Driver Hire Borders.
She told Transport News that BCTR has raised in the previous two years more than £50,000 which has gone back into the local community.
