Dawsongroup wants more of its defleeted vehicles to be sold direct to end users, writes Kevin Swallow, and is bringing its used vehicle sales outlet Dawsondirect to the regions, starting with Glasgow.

Elevated from head of operations to operations director at the beginning of the year, Nick McGowan very much sees the company’s unique selling point as being a national company with a local approach, especially so now, in Scotland.
“For Dawsongroup customers the transactive experience is almost entirely through the local branch where customers have the benefit of consistency and knowing the people who work for the company,” he says. “Customers have a local relationship with the site and team supported through the national infrastructure.”
