LOGISTICS UK recently teamed up with Renault Trucks in technical inspection training for its VIS engineers. Held at the Woodland Grange Conference Centre in Royal Leamington Spa, the Vehicle Inspection Service training session formed part of Logistics UK’s professional improvement for its staff.
Mick Parcell, head of VIS health and safety and engineering improvement at Logistics UK, commented: “Logistics UK’s VIS is always striving to maximise the effectiveness and efficiency of the service we offer. We were delighted to work in collaboration with the team at Renault Trucks and we thank them greatly for the loan of their vehicles. Our aim is to ensure that safety, quality and consistency remain at the forefront of the VIS team’s activities, enabling our engineers, who all hold irtec qualifications and are members of the IRTE to continue to deliver a service to all customers.”
Alex Williams, head of brand and communications at Renault Trucks, said: “Due to the training taking place in Warwickshire, we were delighted to be able to assist Logistics UK with two T460s from our HQ Used Trucks selection, to support its VIS training programme.”
