RTX Northern Ireland is building strong momentum ahead of its inaugural outing this spring, with an expanding roster of leading industry names now committed to the event.
Scheduled for 15–16 April at the Eikon Exhibition Centre in Lisburn, the show will see multiple truck manufacturers exhibiting together, including Dennis Eagle, IVECO, MAN, Mercedes-Benz, Renault Trucks and Volvo. The line-up will give fleet operators a rare chance to assess the latest trucks and innovations from across the major OEMs in one place.
They will be joined by well-known names including Fruehauf, Hankook, Thermoking and Thompsons UK, to list but a few of the well-known manufacturers taking part.
Designed with a clear “all about the truck” ethos, RTX Northern Ireland has been developed as a comprehensive, business‑first tradeshow tailored to the needs of today’s HGV operators. It follows the proven formula of Road Transport Expo, the hugely successful summer show in Stoneleigh, Warwickshire and RTX Scotland, which debuted in Glasgow last year.
The established RTX team will be working on RTX Northern Ireland in partnership with Export & Freight and Fleet Transport magazines, who will be bringing their extensive industry expertise to the show.
Visitors can also make the most of the Knowledge Zone, a two‑day programme of practical, relevant conference sessions led by industry specialists. Topics will span compliance, regulation, skills, road safety, and the fast‑moving world of decarbonisation.
Expert speakers from organisations including the RHA, HSE Northern Ireland, Manfreight and Montgomery Transport Group will share their industry experience and insight on stage.
For those keen to get hands-on, an on-site Ride & Drive Experience offers the chance to test drive a selection of the newest vehicles (appropriate licence required).
Designed squarely around the needs of HGV fleets, RTX Northern Ireland promises an ideal environment for building connections, sourcing solutions, and future‑proofing your operation.
“We are delighted to be launching RTX Northern Ireland this spring and excited to be showcasing the brand’s ‘all about the truck’ formula in a brand-new venue,” said Vic Bunby, RTX show director.
“Our popular tradeshow format brings business to life and provides the perfect networking platform for visitors and exhibitors alike.
“It is designed to deliver a relevant, practical experience for busy fleet operators and we do hope you’ll join us this April.”
