Sewer cleaning and waste management vehicle maker Kaiser AG has acquired Whale Tankers for an undisclosed sum.

The deal sees the Liechtenstein-based company ‘further strengthens its global market leadership and significantly expands its international footprint’.

Kaiser said the integration of Whale Tankers into the Kaiser Group will add more than 600 employees worldwide, with 330 team members in Solihull near Birmingham, UK, and a further 300 in Coimbatore, India.

The acquisition marks an important milestone in Kaiser’s long-term growth strategy and reinforces the Group’s global presence across Europe, the USA, Middle East, Australia and Asia.

Markus Kaiser, CEO and owner Kaiser Group, said: “Growth only creates value in our industry if people and regional strengths remain at the centre.

“This acquisition is about reinforcing local entrepreneurship while unlocking global opportunities.

“The combined portfolio strengthens the entire Kaiser Group and generates new opportunities for all our locations and teams across Europe, the USA and Australia,” he added.
