The inaugural RTX Northern Ireland takes place on 15 and 16 April at the Eikon Exhibition Centre in Lisburn, and is fast becoming a must-attend event for HGV fleet operators, writes Peter Brown.
With an exciting line-up of leading brands already confirmed, the business ‘all about the truck’ tradeshow aims to be a one-stop-shop for everything fleet related.
Major vehicle OEMs already confirmed include DAF, Fruehauf, Mercedes-Benz, MAN, Renault Trucks, Thermoking, Thompsons UK and Volvo, which will bring with them a range of their latest models to explore.
You’ll also be able to kit out your fleet in the latest technology, tyres and equipment with manufacturers and dealerships from across industry including Assured Performance Ireland, Brigade Electronics, Fastview360, Flowtech Ireland, Granco Trucks and Hankook Tyres, to name but a few of the varied stands on offer to visit.
The exhibitor list is continuing to grow every day, so make sure to keep an eye on the website for the latest updates.
Alongside the exhibition, attendees can benefit from dropping into the Knowledge Zone – a two-day programme of expert-led sessions tackling the issues that matter most to HGV operators, from compliance, skills and road safety to decarbonisation.
Whilst for tor those keen to get hands-on, the on-site Ride & Drive Experience offers the chance to test drive a selection of the newest vehicles (appropriate licence required).
RTX Northern Ireland is designed to meet the needs of HGV fleet operators and provides a fantastic opportunity for informal networking with industry peers and making those all-important new business connections. It is your opportunity to connect, learn and future-proof your fleet.
The show is brought to you by the team behind the ever-popular Road Transport Expo that takes places each summer in Warwickshire, England and RTX Scotland, which launched last year in Glasgow. It will also be followed in 2027 with the launch of RTX Ireland in Dublin.
“We are very much looking forward to bringing the popular RTX format into Northern Ireland this Spring and have been delighted with the industry support we’ve received,” said Vic Bunby, RTX Northern Ireland show director.
“As with all our RTX events, the show will provide an excellent mix of quality exhibitors, knowledgeable conference sessions and a relaxed networking environment.”
He added: “We can’t wait to welcome visitors in April, so please do register for your free ticket to join us.”
