Vehicle fleet hire and management company NRG Riverside has acquired the maintenance operations of Truck Care (UK), writes Peter Brown.
The deal sees NRG Riverside expand its national depot network with the addition of an established vehicle maintenance facility in Waltham Cross.
Based in Skelmersdale and with a site in Bellshill, NRG Riverside operates from 16 sites across the UK.
Darren Powell is the chief executive officer. “Our recent refinancing has provided the foundation for us to accelerate our growth plans, and this acquisition represents the first of several strategic investments we will make in our service infrastructure,” he explained.
“Expanding our footprint and enhancing local capability ensures we remain fully aligned to the needs of our customers and well positioned for long-term, sustainable growth.”
