Michael Hill has been named as the new managing director of both Weightlifter Bodies and PPG Fabrications replacing Nigel Butler, who is stepping down, writes Peter Brown.
Back in 2019, Nigel Butler, alongside Paul Simpson, took over as managing director from Paul Weightman, who retired after 27 years at the helm of the group.
“After 44 years in the industry, I’m proud to hand over a strong and successful business to Mike Hill,” Nigel said. “His leadership, integrity, and deep understanding of our operations and business will ensure the company continues to thrive.”
Michael Hill steps up from his role as operations director. He added: “I’m honoured to lead Weightlifter Bodies and PPG Fabrications into their next chapter.
“Our focus remains on delivering quality, innovation, and reliability, values that have long defined our brands. We’ll continue investing in new technology and product development to meet the evolving needs of operators across the UK.”
