Logistics UK is launching a new service to ensure its members have access to accurate CO2 emissions data.
“Emissions Reporting for Transport” is available to all Logistics UK members to support their journey to net zero and regulatory compliance, while meeting their customers’ requirements.
As more businesses begin reporting their indirect Scope 3 carbon emissions, suppliers will need to be able to provide this information, and often it will be a requirement of doing business.
To offer the new service, Logistics UK has partnered with BearingPoint, an independent management and technology consulting firm.
“Our members recognise the long-term benefits of carbon reporting and understand the need to measure CO2 emissions,” said Al Richardson, head of membership & affinities at Logistics UK.
The Emissions Reporting for Transport service is available to all Logistics UK members.
