Last year Ross-shire based Stoddart Crane Hire celebrated its 20th anniversary with a family fun day event at the Black Isle Showfield on Saturday 8th June 2024.

The founder David Stoddart said: “Having started out with a single Grove TM870 crane back in 2004, it is truly an incredible feeling to celebrate our 20th anniversary.

“It has been quite a journey for our family but one that has certainly seen significant growth and long-lasting partnerships built over the years – better still, I’ve been able to share this experience with my two children, Ewan and Kerri.

“Today wouldn’t be possible without their encouragement and the support and trust of our clients and colleagues. Now that we’ve reached this remarkable milestone, it’s time to look to the next 20 years of Stoddart Crane Hire.

‘In the last two years alone, we’ve invested just over £3 million to help expand and modernise our fleet and build our team, ensuring that we continue to provide the high standards of service and excellence that our clients have come to value and appreciate.”

In addition to celebrating their anniversary, Stoddart Crane Hire also showed their support to local charities Highland Hospice, who provide specialist palliative care, and Mikeysline, who offer mental health support and crisis prevention services.
