Obituary: Danny Broomfield

The managing director of Jost (GB) Danny Broomfield has passed away.

He joined Jost (GB) in 2007 and was the company’s UK business development manager, and then sales director before being appointed MD in 2021.

A statement from the company read: “Danny was a cornerstone of JOST, joining the business in 2007 and rising through the ranks with an energy and determination that left a lasting impression on everyone he worked with.

“As a young leader, he took on significant responsibilities across the group with confidence, vision, and a business style that was both passionate and inspiring. His unwavering dedication, infectious enthusiasm, and deep commitment to the company helped shape the culture of JOST.

“This is a profound loss for all of us. Danny was not only a leader, but also a friend and mentor to many. His legacy will live on in the values he instilled and the many lives he touched.”

Danny is survived by his wife Carlie, four children and a grandson. Since the news of Danny’s passing was announced, there has been an outpouring of grief emphasising the wide-reaching impact Danny’s leadership and friendship had on so many people.

JOST GB’s statement concluded: “Our thoughts and heartfelt condolences go out to Danny’s family, friends, and loved ones at this difficult time. Danny, you will be deeply missed but never forgotten.”
