Fire Rips Through Norscot’s Dealership

Firefighters tackled a serious blaze at the Norscot Truck and Van DAF Trucks dealership in Aberdeen on Sunday evening (9/2/25), writes Peter Brown.

The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said six appliances and a height vehicle were among the resources, and more than 50 firefighters were involved in tackling the fire.

It took more than three hours to bring under control.

A spokeswoman for the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said: “Crews from Central, North Anderson Drive, Dyce and Altens were all in attendance.

“They were later joined by crews from Stonehaven, Peterhead, Inverurie, Ellon and Kintore.

“Police were also in attendance and supported crews by directing traffic in the area.”

There were no reports of any injuries.
