The fourth Berwickshire Charity Truck Run took place in June 2024, with more than 100 trucks setting out from Duns, heading into Northumberland and back again.
An impressive £44,000 was raised for good causes and charities, taking the combined total across all four road runs to £132,000.
The money raised went to The Difference at Borders General Hospital, Scottish Cancer Research Network, Alzheimer Scotland Dementia Border Resource Centre, Borders Pottery, three local Men’s Sheds – Duns & District, Kelso, and Coldstream Men’s Sheds, Berwick & District Friends of Dementia, Berwickshire Group RDA (Riding for the Disabled Association), Friends of the Knoll, Meeting of Minds and Duns Pipe Band.
The fifth Berwickshire Charity Truck Run will be 5th July 2025, with plans for a new route.
