The Transport News Scottish Rewards breakfast celebrated its 30th awards ceremony at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Glasgow on 22 November 2024.
This particular event was always going to be different, as it was the first without the A-Lister alistair Vallance. The visionary who founded Transport News 46 years ago was acknowledged by award winning comedian and presenter Des Clarke.
“Alistair is enjoying a well-earned retirement, and we owe a great deal to his unwavering dedication and hard work, as we look to build on that fantastic legacy,” he said.
There was also breaking news, with the launch of RTX Scotland. It is a new trade show in Glasgow that will take place on the 19 and 20 of November 2025 in the Scottish Event Campus.
