Last year Ian Roger stepped onto the stage at the Crown Plaza to collect the richly deserved Industry Lifetime Achievement award.
Now there is a book in the offing that charts the history of the celebrated Scottish haulier Ian S Roger, writes Transport News regular contributor David Craik.
Next year marks the 50th anniversary of Ian Roger taking sole charge of the family’s Keith-based haulage business, and the firm is to celebrate the occasion by publishing a book.
The publication, which will feature many photographs of the family and the business down the years, was the brainchild of the late and much celebrated transport journalist John Henderson.
