The Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) won’t be issuing paper certificates for an HGV that has passed its annual test from Monday 29 April 2024, and will instead go digital.
“We are making this change to become more environmentally friendly,” a spokesperson confirmed to Transport News. “However, we will still issue paper documentation for vehicles that fail the test for the time being.”
DVSA already offer certificates digitally via its ‘MOT history service’ and want to move away from issuing a paper copy of pass certificates at the time of test.
