SALES of semi-trailers built to haul plant such as bulldozers and dumpers from one location to the next are closely aligned to the fortunes of the construction industry.
If the industry is healthy, then so are sales. If it is lacklustre, then demand will start to slump.
“At the moment we’re extremely busy, and we’re doing more business every year,” said Peter Dougan, a director of Traffco, trailer builder Faymonville’s British distributor.
