THE TRUCK chassis market is gradually returning to a pre-pandemic state of normality, with vehicle supply easing by the month. However, while buyers may be able to source a chassis more easily, finding a build slot within the UK’s specialist body builder community is often not quite as straightforward.
“We are extremely busy, and we are still on over a year’s delivery times at the moment,” said Simon Buckle, the nationwide plant body sales manager at Andover Trailers.
“Chassis are coming through better, but there are still component problems for some chassis builders.”
