eActros Goes The Distance

AGAINST the backdrop of forthcoming hydrogen technology, and with new start battery electric vehicle (BEV) builders struggling to get to market, Mercedes-Benz introduced its much-anticipated eActros 600.
There is little doubt that building a long-haul battery electric truck is the nut many truck manufacturers are looking to crack and success will potentially free hauliers to make the transition to net zero, providing infrastructure goes hand-in-hand.
Many gathered in Hamburg to see Mercedes-Benz Trucks launch its eActros 600 long-haul battery electric truck, with the OEM claiming it has a range of 500km.
