Glasgow-based Keedwell Scotland has refreshed its fleet with 11 DAF LF 230 curtainsider rigids and two DAF XG 530 6×2 tractor units.
Supplied by Asset Alliance Group on a three-year contract hire agreement, the 18-tonne rigids will operate from Keedwell’s Bothwell and Grangemouth depots. The rigids will work on The Pallet Network jobs around Scotland and the tractor units are assigned to trunking duties throughout the UK for a contract with Tennent’s Lager.
Keedwell Scotland operations director John McLellan said: “We chose the DAF LFs for their versatility because they can be used for city centre deliveries, and also delivering animal feed and other heavy products in rural locations.”
