For the October 2023 issue, the Fleet in Focus feature put A McPhee Haulage of Oban under the spotlight with its two new tippers.
They cover the west coast of Scotland, including the islands. To keep the fleet updated they have taken delivery of Scania P410 XT eight-wheelers with PPG bodies, with Harsh tipping gear and its ‘Slide & Cover’ sheeting system.
Alasdair McPhee spoke with Transport News about the business his father started as a local coal merchant.
