Scania has strengthened its service and parts support in Central Scotland with the recent opening of a state-of-the-art dealership close to Falkirk FC Stadium. Alistair Vallance joined invited customers, prior to the official opening.
THE COSTLY programme of future proofing Scania’s Scottish dealership base began in December 2021 with the move from cramped Bellshill premises to Eurocentral and the creation of the ultimate green workshop base with everything in massive proportions, encompassing almost space-age technology while at the same time seriously cutting emissions.
The concept worked perfectly and became the master plan for the future, with Falkirk becoming the first beneficiary.
Timing could not have been better. The original Grangemouth dealership ran out of lease and temporary premises managed to keep trucks on the road, until the ‘built from scratch’ dealership in the ethos of Eurocentral opened on Monday 21st August on a 4.5 acre site in Falkirk’s Abbotsford industrial area.
