The Volta Zero has gone on operational trial at DSV’s Southern hub in Purfleet where it is set to undertake last-mile groupage deliveries in London and the Southeast of England.
Featuring a battery capacity ranging from 150kWh to 225kWh, depending on specifications, the Volta Zero achieves a range of between 95 to 125 miles on a single charge.
The vehicle is scheduled to operate between 06:00 AM and 07:00 PM, with overnight charging taking place at the main depot.
