AM Phillip, Scotland’s dealer for the Iveco range of trucks and vans, has embarked on a massive dealership refurbishment programme with the opening of a new base at Glenrothes.
WITH AN investment of over £1 million and the creation of 10 jobs, the newly opened Glenrothes branch of the AM Phillip truck and van dealership empire is the forerunner of serious upgrades at all five remaining outlets throughout Scotland.
Speaking from the dealer’s main base at Muiryfaulds, near Forfar, managing director Rob McWilliam said: “These are exciting times for our company as we expand in parallel with the growing registrations of the Iveco S-Way and Daily truck ranges for which we hold the all of Scotland dealership franchise, providing sales, service and parts from our HQ and our branches at Paisley, Edinburgh, Dundee, Glenrothes and Conon Bridge.
“We had seriously outgrown our previous base at Glenrothes. Originally, in 1996, we had two divisions Trucktech and Agritech. The latter we sold five years ago but shared the site with the company that bought it, however as both of us continued to grow we had to search for new premises for our own use.
