Kevin Stewart, Scotland’s transport minister, has resigned from the Scottish government due to poor mental health.
He was appointed in March 2023 replacing Jenny Gilruth.
The MSP for Aberdeen Central said he was quitting from the post with a ‘heavy heart’.
A successor to Kevin Stewart is yet to be named by the Scottish government.
