Nairn based haulier Seafield Park Transport is heading towards its 20th anniversary and shows no signs of slowing down across its diverse range of services and hands-on management team, reports David Craik.
SEAFIELD PARK Transport says its USP is ‘never saying no to a job’. That covers customers, aspiring drivers, mechanics and even journalists!
Transport News had touched base with the Nairn based firm to find out from founder Steven Barclay how two high profile acquisitions it made last March, R&F Campbell of Inverness and John H Roberts of Auchenblae, were bedding in.
At the time of the acquisition Steven, who set up Seafield in 2004, told TN that ‘it was a good time to make a move’ and that it ‘was an opportunity to expand our customer base’.
John H Roberts is a family run coal merchants and haulier whilst R&F Campbell provide a wide range of services such as crane operations and large-scale deliveries for customers including, according to its website, British Telecom and generator business Aggreko.
