More second hand trucks are appearing in the marketplace, which is good news for buyers, says Steve Banner.
Second-hand tractor units and rigids are becoming more freely available as brand new trucks start to arrive at long last, and fleets that have been waiting for them dispose of their existing models, explained Neil Willis, head of used trucks at Renault Trucks UK and Ireland.
“The early signs are that stock levels will get back to almost normal this year,” he told Transport News.
With both small to medium size businesses and major distribution fleets returning ex-contract vehicles, a healthy variety of Renaults are coming back onto the market, he said.
