MAN TRUCK and Bus has purchased another Stertil Koni heavy-duty 4-post vehicle lift, type ST4250, for use at its workshop in Avonmouth.
Specified with 11.5 metres long platforms, the 4-post lift features a unique design that eliminates the need for cross beams ensuring unobstructed access for operatives to both vehicles and the lift itself. The ST4250 offers a maximum lift height of 1.9 metres achieved in just 72 seconds, making it one of the fastest heavy-duty vehicle lifts in the world, said Stertil Koni, and controlling the lift is made easy and safe utilising ebright Smart Control System; a seven-inch, full colour touch screen.
Supplied complete with a full lighting kit and air-operated jacking beams for wheel-free maintenance and following a successful demonstration of a set of extra-long 1,860mm articulated run-up ramps fitted to an existing 4-post lift in 2018, MAN Truck and Bus opted for the same specification on the latest installation, eliminating the trip hazard of having long platforms bolted to the workshop floor.
