ACCELERATING the use of electric vehicles in Scotland’s wholesale industry is the focus of a current trial by the Scottish Wholesale Association and Volvo Trucks.
Glasgow based wholesaler JW Filshill and other SWA members are participating in the pilot which features Volvo’s electric 19t curtainsider truck with rear tail lift.
Filshill took delivery of the truck, testing it for two weeks to explore the feasibility of using it in the future.
