LORRY drivers are inundated with fleeting information as they make their way around the Scottish road network.
Most are signs highlighting known weight or speed limits to warnings for sharp bends, junctions and crossroads.
More often lorry drivers will be the focus of a variable message sign (VMS) that can be used to deliver a much wider variety of information from road traffic congestion, impending weather warnings, an active hazard warning for an obstacle blocking a lane or a road safety campaign.
