New start business NaDa Trucks has launched a ‘fuel less’ truck, which it says will reduce the overall operational cost to operators by 100%.
Designed without an engine, the truck – called f-Less – harnesses gravity using four 500kg blocks attached to the chassis to provide momentum.
CEO of the Scottish-based manufacturer is Nathan Dacorry, he explained how it worked: “It has the potential to eliminate the cost of fuel, both diesel and electric, by using gravity as its source of energy,” he said.
“If you want to go further, you can add more 500kg blocks to the chassis.”
The f-Less is expected to be officially launched later this year.
