Iveco’s annual State Of The Nation’ dissected the CV marketplace, creating a positive picture in spite of supply chain shortages forcing all of our “just in time” ways of working out of the window.
“OUR MARKET is up. Our volumes are up. Our product range is the strongest it has ever been,” enthused Iveco’s UK business line truck director Gareth Lumsdaine speaking to the trade press.
“With the ambitions of 2035 and 2040 moving even closer, we’re strengthening our position as a leader in alternative fuels, and given the life-changing trials of the last two years, that’s a tremendous position to be in. Also, 2021 was a pivotal year for Iveco in the UK.
“Last year’s market of 37,163 registrations above 6 tonnes – or an increase of 12.9% – should be seen as a solid bottom line number.
