WITH ALL the Covid restrictions expected to be consigned to history by the autumn of this year and now that the dates for the implementation of Low Emission Zones in all four of Scotland’s major cities have been agreed, Tuesday 18 October 2022 is seen as the perfect time for road haulage and van delivery companies to check out what options are on offer from commercial vehicle manufacturers to ensure penalty-free city centre deliveries.
Scotland’s Clean Air Roadshow will be held, free of charge, in and around BT Murrayfield stadium – 10am to 2pm including buffet lunch.
Event organiser, Road Transport Media said, now that the LEZ dates have been put back to June 2024, except for June 2023 in Glasgow for city centre deliveries only, it was felt that the revised October date for the Roadshow would give exhibitors such as CV manufacturers the opportunity to show their very latest emission-free vans, urban delivery rigids and low emission tractor units.
