Scottish Rewards guests enjoy a Friday get-together complete with ‘full Scottish’ breakfast, live music, an industry overview and 19 category awards, all interspersed with high quality humour.
THE 27th annual edition of the Transport News Scottish Rewards presentation saw an almost full house of road haulage industry luminaries on parade for an early breakfast at Glasgow’s Crowne Plaza Hotel on Friday 3 December.
Comedian Des Clarke warmly welcomed the 540 guests and set a light-hearted tone for the occasion.
The Transport News founding editor he introduced, as A-Lister Vallance who then outlined the morning’s programme which traditionally included the Transaid raffle with the prize of a £1,000 Amazon gift card, sponsored by event supporter Iveco, as well as welcoming on stage presenter Carol Smillie.
